Methods: A single cantered, pre-post interventional study design was carried out by enrolling 100 uncontrolled T2DM patients from March 1-August 30, 2020.
Small bowel obstruction (SBO) is a common cause of emergency admission to surgical ward. The etiologies for the majority of these cases include postoperative adhesions and hernia. However, acute appendicitis presenting with SBO due to appendico-ileal knotting is a very rare and unsuspected condition in an emergency scenarios.
