Restoring the dental and facial esthetics in a growing patient with ectodermal dysplasia (ED) is fundamental to improve psychosocial issues, esthetics, and function. The purpose of this clinical report was to present a simple, fast, and cost-effective technique to re-establish a pleasant smile of an eight-year-old male patient with hypohydrotic ED. A vacuum-formed overdenture prosthesis is described, which is recommended as an immediate interim restorative treatment in the maxillary arch with excellent stability and retention.

This study's purpose was to describe a case involving the discovery of a foreign body in the ear canal of an eight-year-old boy, revealed during a recall evaluation to a dental clinic. A panoramic radiograph revealed a radiopaque object in the area of the external auditory meatus. The patient's mother reported one incidence of reported ear pain that resolved spontaneously, but the patient denied placing any object into his ear both in our clinic and at the time he reported ear pain to his mother.

Knowledge as to how attachment behavior is observable in couple interaction can be very useful to clinicians who use attachment theory or related theories to guide their work with couples. The development of the Adult Attachment Behavior Q-Set (AABQ), a 100-item Q-sort designed to be consistent with Main's Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) coding system, is described. Videotaped discussions were coded for a sample of 28 couples.
