We report the case of a 62-year-old man with headache and left sixth cranial nerve palsy. A computerized tomography scan revealed an osteolytic process involving the sella turcica and clivus. A partial tumor resection was achieved via an endoscopic transsphenoidal approach.

Precursor lymphoblastic lymphoma is an uncommon neoplasm. We report the case of a man who presented with precursor T lymphoblastic lymphoma and ultimately received an allogeneic bone marrow transplant from his human leukocyte antigen-identical sister. Four years later he developed recurrent disease.

Since 1998, there has been a marked increase in incidence of pure red cell aplasia secondary to development of anti-erythropoietin antibodies (Ab+ PRCA) in patients who have chronic kidney disease (CKD) and receive recombinant erythropoietin. The relationship between incidence of Ab+ PRCA and specific erythropoietin products has not been examined rigorously. Manufacturers provided data regarding exposure to erythropoietin products and incidence of Ab+ PRCA between January 1998 and March 2003 in patients with CKD.

A retrospective survey of patients with pathologically reviewed extragastric mucosa-associated lymphoma tissue (MALT) lymphomas from 20 institutions was performed. A total of 180 patients with histologically confirmed diagnosis of extragastric MALT lymphomas were studied. Their median age was 59 years (range, 21-92 years).
