- The study aimed to assess a new family-centered approach for collecting saliva samples at home to evaluate dim light melatonin onset (DLMO) in children.
- Participants included 64 individuals with craniopharyngioma, showing high adherence rates to the collection schedule and good quality of samples collected (90% adherence and 89% adequate samples).
- Findings suggest that in-home saliva collection is a viable method for obtaining melatonin samples from both children and adolescents, regardless of age differences.
