The impact of fibroid treatments on quality of life and mental health: a systematic review.

Fibroids significantly impact the quality of life (QOL) and mental health of affected women. However, there are limited comparative data on QOL measures after medical, surgical, and radiologic interventions in women with fibroids. This study aimed to assess the current literature evaluating the impact of fibroids on QOL measures using several validated questionnaires for radiologic, medical, or surgical interventions or a combination of interventions before and after treatment.

Background And Objective: Reports describing factors associated with sleep-related infant death rely on caregiver report or postmortem findings. We sought to determine the frequency of environmental risk factors by using nocturnal sleep videos of infants.

Methods: Healthy, term newborns were recruited for a parent study examining the role of parenting in the development of nighttime infant sleep patterns.
