Compounds containing triazole have many significant applications in the dye and ink industry, corrosion inhibitors, polymers, and pharmaceutical industries. These compounds possess many antimicrobial, antioxidant, anticancer, antiviral, anti-HIV, antitubercular, and anticancer activities. Several synthetic methods have been reported for reducing time, minimizing synthetic steps, and utilizing less hazardous and toxic solvents and reagents to improve the yield of triazoles and their analogues synthesis.

Regional fisheries management: COVID-19 calendars and decision making.

In 2020 the management of transboundary fisheries was severely impacted by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Most annual meetings of regional fisheries and marine management organizations were held virtually, postponed, or cancelled. Even though most organizations managed to meet virtually in 2020, many important decisions were postponed to 2021.

Electrospinning of cyanoacrylate tissue adhesives for human dural repair in endonasal surgery.

Cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) leakage is a major postoperative complication requiring surgical intervention, resulting in prolonged healing and higher costs. Biocompatible polymers, such as cyanoacrylates, are currently used as tissue adhesives for closing surgical defects and incisions. Coupling these polymers with nanofiber technology shows promising results for generating nanofibers used in wound care, tissue engineering, and drug delivery.

Surface treatment and surface characterization techniques are critical to ensure that adherends are chemically activated and free of contaminants before adhesive bonding. Silicone contamination from mold release agents and other sources can interfere with interfacial bonding, decreasing the durability and performance of bonded composite structures. It is necessary to have tools and methods that can be used in a production environment to reliably detect low levels of contaminants in a rapid, simple, and cost-effective manner to improve bond reliability.

Assessing food security using household consumption expenditure surveys (HCES): a scoping literature review.

Objective: To meet some of the UN's seventeen Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, there is a need for more effective policy to reduce food insecurity in low-income and lower-middle-income countries (LMIC). Measuring progress towards these goals requires reliable indicators of food security in these countries. Routinely conducted household consumption and expenditure surveys (HCES) provide potentially valuable and nationally representative data sets for this purpose.

Fish, food security and health in Pacific Island countries and territories: a systematic literature review.

Background: Pacific Island countries and territories (PICTs) face a double burden of disease, with a high prevalence of household food insecurity and childhood micronutrient deficiencies, accompanied by a burgeoning increase in adult obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

Methods: A systematic literature review was undertaken to assess whether increased availability of, and access to, fish improves a) household food security and b) individual nutritional status.

Results: A total of 29 studies were reviewed.

Sexual Assault Victimization Among Female Undergraduates During Study Abroad: A Single Campus Survey Study.

Almost all research on sexual assault victimization among undergraduate university students pertains to incidents that occur on domestic college and university campuses. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the prevalence of sexual assault victimization and related factors among undergraduates in the context of study-abroad programs. Two hundred eight female students (52% response rate) from a small university in the northeastern United States who had recently studied abroad responded to an online survey containing measures of sexual assault, posttraumatic stress responses (PSR), and alcohol consumption.
