The Effect of Motivational Interviewing on Caregiver Facilitation of Home Practice.

The purpose of the investigation was to determine the feasibility of motivational interviewing (MI) to increase caregiver facilitation of articulation home practice. The number of completed caregiver-facilitated practice sessions was collected daily throughout the investigation. MI was introduced to three caregivers who all identified feelings of ambivalence surrounding home practice.
