The neuropathological substrates that underlie WMHs in CAA are unclear, and it remains largely unexplored whether the different WMH distribution patterns associated with CAA (posterior confluent and subcortical multispot) reflect alternative pathophysiological mechanisms.

Methods: We included 195 adults with DS, 63 with symptomatic sporadic Alzheimer's disease (AD), and 106 controls with 3T magnetic resonance imaging.
Adult intussusception is rare, and its non-specific symptoms make the diagnosis particularly difficult. Imaging modalities such as X-ray, abdominal ultrasound and multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) may improve preoperative detection. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cumulative pre-OHT amiodarone exposure on severe primary graft dysfunction (PGD).
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed adult OHT recipients between August 2012 and June 2018.
Background: Evidence from animal studies suggests that minocycline may reduce lobar intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) recurrence in cerebral amyloid angiopathy, possibly by inhibiting perivascular extracellular matrix degradation in cerebral small vessels. There is currently no evidence of its safety or efficacy in humans with cerebral amyloid angiopathy.
Methods And Results: To provide preliminary data to support future studies of minocycline's efficacy, the authors performed a retrospective single-center cohort study to assess the incidence of recurrent ICH in patients with an aggressive clinical course of probable cerebral amyloid angiopathy who had been prescribed minocycline off-label via shared decision-making.

Here, we showed that US28 increased the malignancy of U251 glioblastoma cells by enhancing signaling mediated by sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a bioactive lipid that stimulates oncogenic pathways in glioblastoma. US28 expression increased the abundance of the key components of the S1P signaling axis, including an enzyme that generates S1P [sphingosine kinase 1 (SK1)], an S1P receptor [S1P receptor 1 (S1P)], and S1P itself.
