NUT fusion-associated cancers are heterogeneous and include NUT carcinoma and an emerging group with non-BRD4/BRD3/NSD3 fusion partners. In this study, we characterized 11 tumors harboring MAD::NUT fusions (10/11 in female patients; median age: 48 years; range: 1-67 years), all histologically different from NUT carcinoma. In addition to their lack of alloreactivity, γδ T cells exhibit properties distinct from other lymphocyte subsets, prompting significant interest in their development as an off-the-shelf cellular immunotherapeutic. However, their low abundance in circulation, heterogeneity, limited methods for expansion, and under-developed methodologies for genetic modification have hindered basic study and clinical application of γδ T cells.

Morphologically, these tumors can closely resemble sinonasal papilloma (SP), especially on small or limited biopsy, often leading to misdiagnosis. DEK::AFF2 SCC is devoid of the underlying mutually exclusive EGFR or KRAS driver mutations of SP, suggesting it may represent a distinct unique entity.

To date, 47 cases have been reported with only four occurring in head and neck anatomic locations. Methods: A total of 30 participants (N=10 H&N and N=10 lung cancer patients and N=10 healthy participants) were scanned on the Elekta Unity Magnetic Resonance Linear Accelerator (MRL). Participant experience questionnaires were used to determine the most appropriate positioning device for lung treatments and tolerability of H&N immobilization devices within the confined MR Linac environment.
