Study Design: Prospective observational study.
Objectives: Quantify the amount of lumbar lordosis achieved on a hinged operative table in neutral, flexion, and extension.
Summary Of Background Data: Hinged operative tables may allow surgeons to adjust lumbar spine positioning intraoperatively.
Study Design: Retrospective study.
Objective: To determine if 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D) level measurement and bone mineral density (BMD) using dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) are indicated in children with a history of stress fracture of the pars interarticularis.
Summary Of Background Data: Healing rates of 4%-25% for bilateral and unilateral pars fractures, respectively, have previously been reported.

Local inflammatory response can lead to osteolysis and aseptic loosening of implants. The resulting lesions require careful clinical evaluation.
