Emission lines of [K V] in the optical spectra of gaseous nebulae.

Recent R-matrix calculations of electron impact excitation rates in K v are used to derive the nebular emission line ratio R = I(4122.6 A)/I(4163.3 A) as a function of electron density (N(e)).
