We report a new hybrid organic-inorganic Cu(I) halide, (TMS)CuI (TMS = trimethylsulfonium), which demonstrates high efficiency and stable yellow light emission with a photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) over 25%. The zero-dimensional crystal structure of the compound is comprised of isolated face-sharing photoactive [CuI] tetrahedral dimers surrounded by TMS cations. This promotes strong quantum confinement and electron-phonon coupling, leading to a highly efficient emission from self-trapped excitons.

Background: Rib fractures are the most common injuries diagnosed after blunt thoracic trauma and are a source of significant morbidity and mortality. Early identification of at-risk patients and initiation of effective analgesia are keys to mitigating complications from these injuries. Background: Intussusception is a rare cause of bowel obstruction in adults, typically associated with malignancy, granuloma formation, a foreign body or an anatomic defect.

Case: A 21-year-old, primiparous woman presented at 33 5/7 weeks' gestation with vague abdominal symptoms consistent with acute viral gastroenteritis. She did not improve with conservative measures.
