The purpose of this retrospective study was to determine the false negativity rate of the LumiraDx SARS-CoV-2 Ag Test when utilized for testing individuals suspected of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Methods: Concurrent swab samples were collected from patients suspected of SARS-CoV-2 infection by their healthcare provider within two different urgent care centers located in Easton, MA, USA and East Bridgewater, MA, USA.

Minor histocompatibility antigens (mHAg) induce major histocompatibility complex-restricted, T cell-mediated immune responses that may contribute to increased risk of graft-versus-host disease and graft-versus-leukemia effects. Unlike human leukocyte antigen genes, mHAg are encoded by genetically and functionally unrelated genes located throughout the chromosome. The role of mHAg in stem cell transplantation and the population frequencies of mHAg alleles remain unknown due in part to the lack of suitable high throughput methods for genotyping these diverse genes.

We evaluated twenty renal transplant subjects at various stages of BKV nephritis (BKVN) for BKV-specific IgG and IgM antibodies using ELISA technique and BKV-DNA using PCR. They were divided as early onset (n = 7), stabilizing (n = 3), resolved (n = 8) and late onset (n = 2) BKVN. BKV-specific antibodies and BKV-DNA were simultaneously determined.
