Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is associated with multiple system diseases. Neurocognitive dysfunction resulting from central nervous system complications has been reported, especially in children with OSAHS. Chronic intermittent hypoxia is accepted to be the major pathophysiological mechanism of OSAHS.
