Background: Freshwaters are exposed to multiple anthropogenic stressors, leading to habitat degradation and biodiversity decline. An 87-year-old woman with leg-type lymphoma underwent a staging F-FDG PET/CT, which demonstrated besides leg lymphomatous lesions a round, well-defined, preduodenal mass with moderate FDG uptake. This mass remained unchanged after chemotherapy treatment completion, despite a complete metabolic response of lymphomatous lesions. A biopsy revealed a gangliocytic paraganglioma.

Background: FIGHTDIGO study has shown the feasibility of handgrip strength (HGS) measurements in 201 consecutive digestive cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Objective: This study focuses on a secondary aim of FIGHTDIGO study: the relationship between muscle mass and HGS.

Design: Two consecutive bilateral measures of HGS were performed using a Jamar dynamometer before the start of each chemotherapy.

This study was undertaken to assess the previously unevaluated safety and feasibility of oxaliplatin-desensitization procedure add a French ambulatory cancer unit, which is a current topic in oncology. Our findings demonstrated that oxaliplatin-desensitization was safe and feasible in our ambulatory cancer unit. In routine practice, all these procedures are done on an inpatient basis starting at least the day before.

Background: Handgrip strength (HGS) is a widely studied noninvasive test. Weak strength (dynapenia) seems to be associated with high morbidity and mortality in different populations, notably oncology populations. Despite this, HGS testing is not used in daily practice in oncology.

Maternal complications induced by digoxin treatment of fetal tachycardia: A retrospective series of 18 cases.

Objective: To evaluate maternal tolerance to digoxin, used alone or associated to other antiarrhythmic drugs in the management of fetal tachycardia.

Patients And Methods: This retrospective study was conducted at Rouen University Hospital between January 2009 and July 2016. All women who have received a treatment by either digoxin alone or associated with another antiarrhythmic drug for fetal tachycardia were included in the study.

Background: Reactivation of hepatitis B or C virus can occur in patients undergoing chemotherapy. Incidental gastrointestinal 18F-Fluorodeoxyglucose uptake associated with lung cancer.

Background: F-Fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) is increasingly used for the initial staging and restaging of lung cancer. Incidental gastrointestinal findings are often observed on (18)F-FDG PET/CT. The objective of this study was to assess incidental 18F-FDG uptake by the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) in patients with lung cancer.

Distortion of the anterior part of the interhemispheric fissure: significance and implications for prenatal diagnosis.

In order to illustrate the significance of a new anatomical finding, distortion of the interhemispheric fissure (DIHF) associated with impacted medial borders of the frontal lobes, we report a retrospective observational study of 13 fetuses in which DIHF was identified on prenatal imaging. In 10 cases there were associated anatomical anomalies, including mainly midline anomalies (syntelencephaly (n=2), lobar holoprosencephaly (n=1), Aicardi syndrome (n=2)), but also schizencephaly (n=1), cortical dysplasia (n=1) and more complex cerebral malformations (n=3), including neural tube defect in two cases. Chromosomal anomaly was identified in two cases, including 6p deletion in a case without associated central nervous system anomalies and a complex mosaicism in one of the cases with syntelencephaly.

[Functional MR urography in children].

MR Urography (MRU) provides both morphologic and functional information without radiation exposure. It enables the assessment of split renal function, excretion, and quantification of obstruction. MRU is thus complementary to ultrasonography in the assessment of pre- and post-natal obstructive uropathies in children.

Effects of irradiation on bone remodelling around mandibular implants: an experimental study in dogs.

This research focuses on the effects of radiotherapy on bone remodelling around mandibular implants in dogs. After bilateral extraction of the mandibular premolars and first 2 molars, each of 11 beagles received 8 mandibular implants. Four animals were irradiated 4 weeks after implantation and 4 others 8 weeks before implantation; the remaining 3 did not receive radiotherapy.
