Objective: This narrative review aims to explore the current applications and future prospects of AI within the subfields of oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS), emphasizing its potential benefits and anticipated challenges.

Methods: A detailed review of the literature was conducted to evaluate the role of AI in oral and maxillofacial surgery. All domains within OMS were reviewed with a focus on diagnostic, therapeutic and prognostic interventions.

In silico analysis of mitochondrial DNA genes: implication for conservation of Tor putitora (Hamilton, 1822).

Tor putitora is an endangered cyprinid fish constrained to cold water and is also considered an indicator of a healthy aquatic ecosystem. The present study aimed to examine the haplotypic diversity, genetic variation and population structure of T. putitora isolates using COI and Cyt b gene sequences submitted in GenBank.

Antiviral and Cytoprotective Effect of Zinc (Yasad Bhasma) Based Nanoformulations Against Bovine Coronavirus.

Ayurvedic medicine utilizes metal-based preparations, known as bhasmas, to treat various health conditions. Yasad bhasma (YB), a zinc-based ayurvedic preparation, shows promise as a potential candidate for developing zinc-based nanomedicines with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In this study, we synthesized a formulation combining YB and hydroxychloroquine (HC) as a zinc ionophore (YBHC) and investigated its biocompatibility and antiviral effects against buffalo calf coronavirus (BCoV) in Vero cells.

Bovine viral diarrheal virus (BVDV) and bovine coronavirus (BCoV) are prevalent viral infections in buffalo calves that result in significant economic losses globally. However, Bovine picobirnavirus (BPBV) Group I and II has been an emerging causes of gastrointestinal infection as has been detected with mixed of BVDV as well as BCV. To combat economic losses and viral infection, a rapid and innovative multiplex-PCR assay (M-PCR) was developed to simultaneously identify BVDV, BCV, and BPBV.

More recently, microRNAs have been identified as critical regulators of lesional and systemic immune changes in psoriasis with diagnostic potential.

Regulation of omega-3 fatty acids production by different genes in freshwater fish species: a review.

The present study aims to compare the gene expression of three different fish species (common carp, tilapia, and trout) with varying levels of fatty acids (FA). Characterization of sulfur-oxidizing bacteria isolated from mustard (Brassica juncea L.) rhizosphere having the capability of improving sulfur and nitrogen uptake.

Aims: The present investigation was carried out to isolate, screen and characterize potential sulfur-oxidizing bacteria (SOB) isolated from mustard field's soil.

Methods And Results: A total of 130 bacteria were isolated and after screening five maximum sulfate-producing isolates were optimized for culture conditions. The incubation time of 48 h was found optimum for all bacterial isolates and 30°C was the best temperature for the growth of SSD11, SSR1 and SSG8 whereas 35°C for SSF17.
