The optical properties of the synthesized HH-CQDs were characterized by UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy (PL), while their structural properties were characterized using various techniques, including transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). TEM images revealed that HH-CQDs had a spherical shape with diameters ranging from 2 to 10 nm.

Firstly, the characteristic behavior of MeO-SODA was examined in ten different solvents, revealing that it underwent non-radiative transitions as the hydrogen bonding capacity of solvent increased. Secondly, the absorption and fluorescence measurements for MeO-SODA were conducted across various pH levels (pH 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12), with fluorescence emission observed exclusively at pH 2.

Introduction: There are few data on permanent pacemaker implantation (PPMI) in patients who have undergone transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) for bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) stenosis.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the predictors and incidence of PPMI in bicuspid patients using a balloon-expandable (BE) TAVI device.
Material And Methods: A total of 62 patients with bicuspid morphology who had undergone successful TAVI using a BE device without previous PPMI were included (retrospectively).
It was aimed to determine the prevalence of Helicobacter in some reptilian and amphibian species in Türkiye and to describe the bacteria. Methods: Three hundred seventy-seven eyes of 239 patients in the MARMASIA Study Group who received intravitreal anti-VEGF treatment (IVT) due to DME were included in the study. The group 1 consisted of 44 eyes of the patients who had not received any treatment before, were followed up regularly for 24 months after at least a 3-month loading dose, and suffered from VMID such as epiretinal membrane, vitreomacular adhesion or traction, and lamellar hole.
Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate clinical one-dimensional changes such as root surface coverage, decrease seen in the amount of gingival recession and keratinised gingival width (KGW) obtained throughout a 6-month follow-up period following the treatment of Cairo class II gingival recession with free gingival graft (FGG) and gingival unit graft (GUG). Three-dimensional changes in gingival volume and thickness were also compared digitally using an indirect method.
Methods: A total of 20 patients with localised Cairo class II gingival recession were randomly separated into two groups; 10 patients were treated with FGG and 10 patients treated with GUG.
Purpose: This study aimed to compare the effect of intravitreal aflibercept (IVA) and ranibizumab (IVR) on the maximal diameter of the largest intraretinal cyst (mdIRC), indicating chronicity in patients with diabetic cystoid macular edema (CME).
Methods: This retrospective, comparative study included a subgroup of patients from the MARMASIA Study with treatment-naïve diabetic CME who had IVA (IVA group) or IVR (IVR group) on a pro re nata regimen after a loading dose of 3-monthly injections and followed-up for 24 months. Best-corrected visual acuity (logMAR), central macular thickness (CMT, µm), and mdIRC (µm) and their changes during the study period in the IVA and IVR groups were compared.
