Osteolipoma are uncommon benign soft tissue tumors, deriving from fat cells metaplasia. We report a case of 47-year-old female with a progressively enlarging, painless mass over the anteromedial aspect of left ankle, explorations showed a calcified masse and histopathologic diagnosis was in favor of osteolipoma, which was resected surgically without any recurrence after 2 years follow up. This tumor can affect different regions of the body but ankle location is very rare and must be distinguished from other diagnosis essentially sarcoma.

Chondrosarcomas are rare malignant cartilaginous tumor affecting adult and elderly patient. Pelvic and long bones are the most common location. We differentiate conventional chondrosarcoma which arises do novo from preexisting normal bone (primary chondrosarcoma) or within a preexisting lesion such as enchondromas or osteochondromas (secondary chondrosarcoma), Other rare subtypes of chondrosarcoma include clear cell chondrosarcoma, dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma, and mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, which will be considered separately.

Bone cystic echinococcosis is rare disease and its management remain difficult to treat due to frequent recurrences, related to certain locations such as proximal femur and ilium, where radical surgery is difficult to achieve. Medical therapy using Mebendazol can be an ultimate way to insure stabilization and remission of the parasitosis. We present a case of a 37-year-old male who had complaints of pain in left hip and limp four years after surgical management of pertrochanteric fracture of his right lower limb.

A pure divergent dislocation involving the index and middle finger carpometacarpal joints is an extremely rare injury. We present a case of 21-year-old military man, victim of a motor vehicle accident, admitted at the emergency department unable to move his left hand with major swelling. X-rays and CT scan showed a dorsal dislocation of second and palmar dislocation of the third carpometacarpal joints without associated fracture, In the Operating room under general anesthesia, patient underwent closed reduction and internal fixation with percutaneous K-Wires followed by cast immobilization during 6 weeks.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a global public health problem endemic to Morocco. While extrapulmonary TB uncommonly presents in osteoarticular anatomic locations, tarsal or metatarsal osteitis can occur when TB presents in the tarsal bones. Hyperparathyroidism can present itself as brown tumors (or osteolytic expansive lesions) that usually disappear after normalization of calcium and phosphate levels. It rarely occurs simultaneously with a giant cell tumor. The authors report one case of a localized form at the distal radius in a patient being followed for primary hyperparathyroidism.

We report the cases of two women aged 28 and 34 years who presented recurrent glomus tumors of the hand after surgery for marginal resection of the tumor mass. The pathological study of the surgical specimen confirmed the diagnosis of recurrent glomus tumor. Due to the vascular origin of this tumor, sclerotherapy was delivered.

The authors report a case of bilateral division of the carpal scaphoid in a 36-year-old man. In the right wrist, all the clinical and radiological signs suggested a bipartite scaphoid, but in the left wrist the presence of pain and pan-radial osteoarthritis rather suggested a pseudarthrosis of the scaphoid. This raises the possibility of osteoarthritis occurring overtime in a bipartite carpal scaphoid.

Two unusual cases of isolated closed complex dislocation of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the third finger are presented. The single most important element preventing reduction was interposition of the volar plate between the proximal end of the phalanx and the head of the metacarpal, but the deep transverse ligament was also intimately involved in the entrapment mechanism. Such dislocations require open reduction as in the two cases presented, and we found the dorsal approach to be simple and effective.
