In the present study, the synthesis of six new Ni(II) and Pd(II) complexes with three derived sulfamethoxazole drug ligands is reported. The coordination mode, geometry, and chemical formula of all the synthesized compounds have been determined by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, emission atomic spectroscopy, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility, FTIR, TGA, H-NMR, electronic absorption spectroscopy, SEM-EDX along with DFT calculations. The Schiff Base ligands were found to be bidentate and coordinated to the metal ions through sulfonamidic nitrogen and oxazolic nitrogen atoms leading to a square planar geometry for palladium (II) while a distorted octahedral geometry around Nickel (II) ion was suggested.

The objective of this biomechanical study, using finite element modelling, was to evaluate the variations of the femoral diaphysis fracture indicator according to the variations of the mechanical axis of the lower limb, which can explain all the different atypical fracture types identified in the literature.
Methods: In order to measure variations in stress and risk factors for fracture of the femoral diaphysis, the distal end of the femur was constrained in all degrees of freedom.
The essential type of endonuclease that removes 5' leader sequences from transfer RNA precursors is called RNase P. While ribonucleoprotein RNase P enzymes containing a ribozyme are found in all domains of life, another type of RNase P called 'PRORP', for 'PROtein-only RNase P', is composed of protein that occurs only in a wide variety of eukaryotes, in organelles and in the nucleus. Here, to find how PRORP functions integrate with other cell processes, we explored the protein interaction network of PRORP1 in Arabidopsis mitochondria and chloroplasts.

Minimally invasive technologies such as tibioplasty or stabilization by locking plate, bone augmentation and cement filling (CF) have recently been used to treat this type of fracture. The aim of this paper was to determine the mechanical behavior of the tibial plateau by numerically modeling and by quantifying the mechanical effects on the tibia mechanical properties from injury healing.

Mitochondria and chloroplasts are often described as semi-autonomous organelles because they have retained a genome. They thus require fully functional gene expression machineries. Many of the required processes going all the way from transcription to translation have specificities in organelles and arose during eukaryote history.

The formulae obtained for the complexes are: [M(L(1))2 Cl2]·nH2O, [M(L(2))2Cl2(H2O)2]·H2O and [M(L(3))2(OH)2]·nH2O. Stability constants of these complexes have been determined by potentiometric methods in water-ethanol (90:10, v/v) mixture at a 0.
