[Thrombosed aneurysm of the internal carotid artery, complicated by the development of ischemic stroke followed by subarachnoid hemorrhage].

Thrombosed cerebral aneurysms can cause embolism of the distal cerebral arteries and manifest as the development of ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack. As a rule, thromboembolic complications develop with giant and large aneurysms, but they are also possible with sizes less than 1 cm. In case of such complications, according to the standards of treatment of ischemic stroke, antithrombotic therapy is necessary, which is associated with the risk of rupture of the aneurysm.

[Use of invasive intracranial pressure monitoring in patients with severe traumatic brain injury].

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of the use of invasive intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring on treatment outcomes in patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Material And Methods: We analyzed 50 case histories of patients with severe TBI who received treatment in the Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital for the period 2021-2022. Comparisons were made between patients with and without invasive intraventricular ICP monitoring.

First molecular verification of Dixonius vietnamensis Das, 2004 (Squamata: Gekkonidae) with the description of a new species from Vinh Cuu Nature Reserve, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.

Based on near-topotypic specimens of Dixonius vietnamensis from Khanh Hoa Province in southern Vietnam genetic analyses showed that the recently described D. taoi is sister to D. vietnamensis and several separate forms exist which previously have been misidentified as D.

A new species of Dixonius (Squamata: Gekkonidae) from Phu Quy Island, Vietnam.

We describe a new species of Dixonius on the basis of five specimens from Phu Quy Island, Binh Thuan Province, in southern Vietnam. The new species can be distinguished from congeners based on molecular and morphological differences. Diagnostic features are: small size (SVL up to 44 mm); 7 or 8 supralabials; 11 or 12 rows of keeled tubercles on dorsum; 21-23 ventral scale rows; 5 or 6 precloacal pores in males; a canthal stripe running from rostrum through the eye and terminating behind the head; second pair of postmentals about one third to one half size of first pair; ground color of dorsum brown, with one or two rows of light yellow or orange spots in one or two rows along flanks, and irregular bands or a reticulated network of dark marks on dorsum.

A new species of the genus Hemiphyllodactylus is described from Luang Prabang Province, northern Laos. Hemiphyllodactylus kiziriani sp. nov.

[Changes in acid-base equilibrium of blood after intravenous laser irradiation (experimental study)].

Experiments were conducted to study the acid-base equilibrium of blood in pancreatitis and in combination with laser irradiation of venous blood by the intravascular method through a light guide. Irradiation of blood was attended by inhibition of metabolic acidosis development, which was evidently linked with improved blood oxygen transport function in response to exposure to the laser beam.
