In-house CrN coatings were developed using the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process, with variations in deposition parameters including nitrogen gas pressure, bias voltage, and coating thickness. A comprehensive experimental approach encompassing deposition, characterization, and machining performance evaluation was employed to identify the optimal deposition conditions.
