The feelings and hopes of young people around the world are often neglected in policymaking and research, with consequences for both their wellbeing and the effectiveness of humanity's response to the climate crisis. Many of them are distressed by climate change's impacts, the inaction of political and corporate leaders, the ways other people respond to their feelings, and the lack of support they have to share their feelings or get involved in meaningful climate-related work. This paper is written by a group of twenty-three concerned young people from fifteen countries.

Introduction: The actual guidelines of cardiovascular prevention lay special emphasis on the lipid-lowering therapy of patients suffering from acute coronary syndrome (ACS).

Aim: To evaluate the occurrence of high-intensity statin therapy, recommended by guidelines, at discharge in a Hungarian county hospital with hemodynamic laboratory in patients who underwent percutaneous intervention, furthermore the LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) levels and goal attainment rate in the first year.

Method: Retrospective data collection from the hospital database regarding the therapy at discharge and the lipid levels in the year following the intervention due to ACS in 2015.

Background And Purpose: The purpose of this retrospective and prospective case report is to describe the feasibility and outcomes of using a low-cost, commercially available gaming system (Wii) to augment the rehabilitation of an adolescent with cerebral palsy.

Patient And Setting: The patient was an adolescent with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy classified as GMFCS level III who was treated during a summer session in a school-based setting.

Intervention: The patient participated in 11 training sessions, 2 of which included other players.

Variations in regulatory regions of developmental control genes have been implicated in the divergence of axial morphologies. To find potentially significant changes in cis-regulatory regions, we compared nucleotide sequences and activities of mammalian Hoxc8 early enhancers. The nucleotide sequence of the early enhancer region is extremely conserved among mammalian clades, with five previously described cis-acting elements, A-E, being invariant.

We have characterized cis-acting elements that direct the early phase of Hoxc-8 expression using reporter gene analysis in transgenic mice. By deletion we show that a 135 bp DNA fragment, located approximately 3 kb upstream of the coding region of Hoxc-8, is capable of directing posterior neural tube expression. This early neural tube (ENT) enhancer consists of four separate elements, designated A, B, C and D, whose nucleotide sequences are similar to binding sites of known transcription factors.
