Dega acetabuloplasty at the time of open reduction is effective in improving the acetabular coverage of the femoral head, hence improving the stability of reduction and preventing possible surgery in the future for residual acetabular dysplasia in older children with Tönnis grade 3 and 4 developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). We present two cases of tuberculosis osteomyelitis mimicking subacute osteomyelitis and treated without extensive debridement. Introduction: Congenital peripheral constriction ring originating from soft tissues of the leg that is characterized with compression in the soft tissue usually involving the deep fascia surrounding the leg at the time of birth is occasionally observed in lower extremity. At the region of the constriction, fractures of tibia and fibula and foot deformities like clubfoot can be observed.

Study Design: A prospective comparative evaluation of the commonly accepted or described radiologic techniques to determine curve flexibility in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), comparison of the results to those obtained by supine traction radiographs taken with the patient under general anesthesia (UGA) just before surgery and correlation of all findings to surgical correction.

Objective: To determine if supine traction radiographs taken with the patient UGA help provide better assessment of curve flexibility and better predicting surgical correction.

Summary Of Background Data: Supine lateral bending radiographs are the standard methods of evaluating curve flexibility before surgery in idiopathic scoliosis.

Objectives: To determine the maximum amount of a specific antibiotic added to 40 g acrylic bone cement in terms of the effect on mechanical properties of the bone cement on Day 0 and after antibiotic release on Day 15.

Methods: In an experimental design, eight teicoplanin doses (0, 400 mg, 800 mg, 1200 mg, 1600 mg, 2000 mg, 3200 mg and 4000 mg) were added to bone cement (Surgical Simplex P). Specimens were prepared using the third generation cementing technique to determine the compressive strength and four-point bending strength according to ASTM and ISO standards, respectively.
