Background/objectives: Radioligandtherapy (RLT) with [177Lu]Lu-PSMA has been newly introduced as a routine treatment for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). However, not all patients can tolerate the entire therapeutic sequence, and in some cases, the treatment may prove ineffective. In real-world conditions, the aim is to distinguish between patients who fully benefit from treatment (those who respond effectively and tolerate the entire therapeutic sequence) and those who do not respond or cannot tolerate the entire sequence.

While hypertrophy of these turbinates is a common cause of nasal obstruction in adults, congenital malformations are extremely rare. Only a few cases of unilateral agenesis have been reported.

Purpose: Germline DNA sequencing is increasingly used within pediatric oncology, yet parental experiences remain underexplored.
Methods: Parents of children undergoing cancer predisposition gene panel sequencing (143 genes) were surveyed before and after disclosure of results. Questionnaires assessed knowledge, expectations, worries, satisfaction, and regret.
Legislative change and shifting consumer sentiment drive a need to replace polymers in certain products. Herein, we highlight that eutectic molecular glasses and liquids are promising but underutilized candidate materials. We formulate a series of hydrophobic eutectic molecular liquids and glasses by mixing their crystalline components.

Hypothesis: Graphene Oxide (GO)-templated deposition of inorganic materials through synthesis on dispersed single sheets of GO is often complicated by the loss of the desired 2D morphology owing to the coagulation of GO sheets at high salt concentrations and non-templated homogenous nucleation. Modifying GO with anionic polymer is expected to solve both problems by i) enhancing electrostatic(steric) stabilization upon exposure to high concentrations of the ionic precursors, and ii) offering additional nucleation sites at the grafted anionic moieties to avoid homogeneous secondary nucleation.
Experiments: GO was grafted with branched copolymers of poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate (PEGMA 500) and diethylene glycol dimethacrylate (DEGDMA) and ω-vinyl terminated methacrylic acid macromonomer (P(MAA)), the latter serving as an addition-fragmentation chain transfer agent.
Much - possibly even too much - has been published about chemosensory dysfunction as a consequence of COVID-19. Studies have reported prevalence of taste loss in up to 89.9%, which is in a similar range as COVID-19 related smell loss.

The 21 adolescents in this qualitative interview study viewed genetic sequencing as an integral part of their cancer journey. They often characterized germline sequencing as "good-to-know" without specifying immediate utility.

Methods: From March 2020 to October 2020, COVID-19 patients with OD were recruited and followed over the 12-month post-infection. The following data were collected: demographic, treatments, vaccination status, and olfactory function.
Parental burnout (PB) is a chronic stress-related condition resulting from long-lasting exposure to overwhelming parenting stress. Previous studies showing the seriousness of this condition stressed the urgent need to provide researchers and practitioners with effective assessment tools. Validated PB measures are the Parental Burnout Inventory (PBI) and the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA).

Methods: From March 2022 to July 2022, COVID-19 patients with persistent OD were consecutively recruited to benefit from PRP injection into the olfactory clefts. Patient pain, annoyance, time of procedure, and adverse events were evaluated.

Objective: To validate a French version of the Olfactory Disorders Questionnaire (Fr-ODQ).
Methods: Patients with olfactory disorder (OD) and controls were enrolled from two medical centers. Individuals completed the Fr-ODQ and the French version of the sinonasal outcome tool-22 (SNOT-22).
Objective: In pediatric oncology, large-scale genetic sequencing contributes to the identification of cancer predisposition, which can facilitate surveillance and family counseling. Our qualitative study explores families' motives, knowledge, and views regarding germline genetic sequencing to improve future counseling and support.
Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with parents of children with renal tumors participating in a national center, germline sequencing study.

Introduction: Olfactory dysfunction (OD) is a well know symptom of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), accounting for 48 to 85% of patients. In 1 to 10% of cases, patients develop a chronic olfactory dysfunction (COD), lasting more than 6 months. Recently, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) was used in patients with non-COVID-19 COD and authors reported encouraging results.

Both AAm and PEGDA were found to act as co-surfactants, resulting in the obtainment of monoliths with greater homogeneity in some cases. As a result these materials demonstrated significantly improved chromatographic performance for the separation of a standard mixture of proteins using reversed-phase liquid chromatography, in comparison to monoliths prepared with no internal phase monomer.

The study included 170 cases and 170 controls. In the COVID-19 group, 26.

Methods: Patients with LPR, diagnosed using hypopharyngeal-esophageal multichannel intraluminal impedance pH-monitoring (HEMII-pH), were prospectively recruited from three University Hospitals. Patients were treated with a combination of diet, proton pump inhibitors, magaldrate and alginate for 3 months.
We report on the synthesis of monodisperse, flower-like, liquid crystalline (LC) polymer particles by precipitation polymerization of a LC mixture consisting of benzoic acid-functionalized acrylates and disulfide-functionalized diacrylates. Introduction of a minor amount of redox-responsive disulfide-functionalized diacrylates (≤10 wt %) induced the formation of flower-like shapes. The shape of the particles can be tuned from flower- to disk-like to spherical by elevating the polymerization temperature.

Post-vaccine olfactory and gustatory disorders are very rare and were reported in patients who received influenza vaccines. In this article, we report 6 cases of post-coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine olfactory and gustatory disorders in patients with negative nasal swabs. Precisely, olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions were reported in 5 and 1 patients, respectively.
