Clinical and videourodynamic study characteristics in female primary bladder neck obstruction and outcomes of bladder neck resection: A tertiary care center experience in India.

Introduction: Video urodynamic study (VUDS) with clinical correlation helps in diagnosing primary bladder neck obstruction (PBNO) in women. Bladder neck incision/bladder neck resection (BNR) though effective is not commonly practiced for the fear of complications and limited literature available.

Methods: The records of ten women diagnosed with PBNO between 2017 and 2019 were reviewed and data pertaining to their clinical features, laboratory results, findings on abdominal ultrasonography, uroflowmetry, and VUDS was noted.

Flaps in adult urethrocutaneous fistula repair: a report of two cases with the review of literature.

Urethrocutaneous fistula (UCF) poses a challenge to the reconstructive urologist in terms of its location, patient's expectations, availability of tissues for interposition, wound infection and chances of recurrence. Also, patient-related factors, such as uncontrolled diabetes, local surgery with extensive tissue loss, prior history of radiation, poor nutritional status and presence of any distal obstruction in the urethra severely affect the outcomes of a good repair with vascularised flap. We report two cases of UCF repair in adults using scrotal and gracilis muscle flaps (GMFs), their anatomic basis, technicality and advantages.

Usage of Modified Makuuchi Incision for Surgical Management of Complex Renal and Adrenal Lesions.

Background:  Modified Makuuchi (MM) incision is less popular among the urological fraternity as Chevron, subcostal, flank, and midline incisions are commonly used for most of the complex renal and adrenal conditions. We present our experience and report the outcomes of patients operated using this incision.

Materials And Methods:  The records of patients who underwent open surgery for upper abdominal urological conditions using MM incision over the last five years in our department were retrospectively reviewed.

Eosinophilic Leukemoid Reaction with Eosinophilic Tumor Tissue Infiltration as an Extermely Poor Prognostic Factor in Urinary Bladder Cancer- a Known Entity Revisited.

Eosinophilia can be a manifestation of a variety of causes such as infections, allergic reactions and autoimmune processes. Also, it is described in various solid malignancies in the presence of tumour eosinophilic infiltration. We report a patient of high-grade urinary bladder cancer with eosinophilic leukemoid reaction and tumour histopathology demonstrated diffuse infiltration of eosinophils.

Gangrenous cystitis: An extremely rare infectious condition managed by neobladder - A case report with review of literature.

Gangrenous cystitis (GC) is an extremely rare infectious entity in the modern era. GC in young patients decreases the quality of life as bladder function is totally jeopardized. The management in such cases is challenging.

Trifecta Outcomes in Open, Laparoscopy or Robotic Partial Nephrectomy: Does the Surgical Approach Matter?

This retrospective study evaluated perioperative outcomes of open partial nephrectomy (OPN), laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (LPN), and robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) and identified predictive factors of Trifecta achievement for renal tumors that underwent partial nephrectomy (PN) in a single institutional cohort. The study involved patients who underwent PN from January 2011 to July 2018. Trifecta was defined as absence of perioperative complications, no positive surgical margins, and ischemia time <30 min.
