[Effect of C60 fullerene on metabolic and proliferative activity of PKE cell line].

The effect of C60 fullerene aqueous colloid solution (C60 FAS) on activity of redox and proliferative processes in PKE (transplantable cell line of pig kidney embryo) cells has been studied. In particular, it was established that the presence of C60 fullerene (127 microM) in culturing medium of PKE cells during 48 h did not change their ability to reduce non-toxic AlamarBlue redox indicator and proliferative activity.

[Effect of dielectric permeability of culture media on the kinetics of the ATP hydrolysis reaction, catalyzed by Ca2+-transporting ATPase, solubilized from smooth muscle cell membrane].

Transport Ca2+,Mg(2+)-ATPase was solubilized from myometrial plasma membrane and purified by calmodulin-sepharose 4B affinity chromatography; the effect of dielectric permeability of incubation medium on kinetics of ATP hydrolysis by this enzyme was studied. [Search for anti-inflammatory preparations among the derivatives of succinic acid heteryl amides].

The antiinflammatory activity and acute toxicity of 44 derivatives of heteryl amides of succinic acid (acids, esters, amides) were studied. This series of compounds was found to be promising for the search of nonsteroidal, practically nontoxic antiphlogistics. The structural-pharmacological analysis was performed and the dependence of the biological effect on the compound structure was revealed.

[Remote results of alloplastic reconstruction of cruciform ligaments of the knee joint].

The results of plastic reconstruction of genicular crucial ligaments with a Lavsan implant are reported. The results obtained were estimated basing on the analysis of clinico-roentgenological findings in 120 patients within the terms from 1 to 12 years following surgical therapy. The issues of reconstruction of one of crucial ligaments are reported as well as the results of operations for the damage to several ligaments of the knee joint.
