The patients with ischemic lesions of brain circulation showed marked biochemic changes of blood platelets. Obviously it plays an important role in the development of the given pathology. In the acute stage of the stroke there was a decrease of serotonin and ATP content in platelet which gradually increased along with the development of the disease.

It was revealed that there was an increase (by an average of 58%) of the RNA concentration in the blood erythrocytes of women during ovulation. Measurement of the RNA content in erythrocytes can serve as an ovulation test.
