Purpose: The objective of the study is to determine if there was a difference in medical complications and in-hospital mortality among the patients who underwent THA for femoral neck fracture relative to same procedure for elective patients with coxarthrosis.
Methods: We compared characteristics and short-term outcomes during the rehabilitative postsurgical period. We included all patients older than 45 years who underwent THA for primary/secondary hip arthritis and displaced femoral neck fractures type Garden III and IV.
Vertebral limbus is a condition characterized by the intraspongious herniation of a portion of the nucleus pulposus. It is often asymptomatic, but it can sometimes cause nonspecific symptoms such as local pain and muscle spasm, or, in rare cases, radiculopathies, which is why it can be confused with vertebral fractures, spondyloarthropathies, infectious or tumoral processes. Early recognition of this pathology is preferable for a correct diagnosis and adequate treatment, the latter ranging from conservative approaches (such as personalized exercise programs and physical therapy) to surgical interventions reserved for severe cases with nerve compression.

Despite long-standing debate, the nature of the surgical indication regarding how to treat concomitent LHBT injuries has undergone changes in recent years. It now extends beyond the timing of tenotomy to encompass considerations of alternative methods for preserving the LHBT, along with an ongoing exploration of how it can be effectively utilized in reconstructive shoulder surgery.

On the other hand, repairing the labrum alone in cases with subcritical glenoid bone loss results in recurrent instability and persistent apprehension. As a result, recent advancements in shoulder instability surgery prioritize fully restoring the anterior shoulder restraint.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the data of 526 patients with THA operated on in our department between January 2017 and December 2021. Clinical examinations, functional outcome assessment and radiographic evaluation were performed during follow-up.
The Baker cyst (BC), also known as the popliteal cyst or parameniscal cyst, is a fluid-filled sac that normally develops in the back of the knee, between the semimembranosus and medial head of the gastrocnemius. We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy (10 days of treatment) that associates intermittent vacuum therapy (IVT) on the lower limbs in the treatment of the BC, respectively, in its size reduction. Sixty-five patients with knee osteoarthritis using Kellgren-Lawrence criteria and the presence of BC (ultrasonography evaluation), were divided into the Control and Vacuum groups.

Debridement alone might not be sufficient to prevent further tendon degradation or alleviate patient complaints. Direct repair using a suture anchor without treating the concomitant conditions of the long head of the biceps tendon might come with residual anterior shoulder pain or even further loss of function in cases of failed repair.

Methods: Our clinical prospective study was made between January 2016 and December 2020. The study group comprised 1240 total hip replacements over a period of five years.
Purpose: The aim of the study was to evaluate the antegrade intramedullary locking nail osteosynthesis for the treatment of the proximal and middle thirds of humeral shaft fractures.
Methods: A retrospective study was made on 218 patients diagnosed with humeral diaphysis fractures who undergo surgery with antegrade intramedullary locking nail between January 2017 and December 2021. The clinical follow-up started two days after surgery and continued at one month, three months, six months and one year.
The aim of the present study conducted on the lumbar spine was to confirm that the pronounced decrease in resistance in the system is a phenomenon that can be eminently affected by the adaptive changes that occur at the level of the intervertebral disc at axial mechanical stresses. The biomechanical trial was carried out on 11 lumbar segments L1-L5, gathered from adult human cadavers. The dissection considered the complete keeping of all bone, disc, articulated and ligamentous components in their anatomical position.
