We have systematically assessed the contents of 93 commercial immunoglobulin batches and show that there are consistent product-specific differences in the levels of HBV core antigen antibodies and that choice of immunoglobulin product may have an impact on false-positivity rates.

Introduction: Life after stroke is a comprehensive area that involves engagement in meaningful everyday activities, including work, and can be adversely affected by post-stroke fatigue. This study investigates post-stroke fatigue, its development over time, and its impact on return to work and other everyday life activities. In addition, we investigated whether post-stroke fatigue could predict functioning in everyday life activities one year after stroke.

Prolonged Sick Leave Before and After Diagnosis of Generalized Pustular Psoriasis: A Swedish Population-based Register Study.

The aim of this study was to analyse sick leave in generalized pustular psoriasis, the most severe form of pustular psoriasis. Prolonged sick leave of >14 days was analysed for 502 patients with generalized pustular psoriasis compared with controls with psoriasis vulgaris and matched controls from the general population. Using data from the Swedish National Patient Register, and the Longitudinal integrated database for health insurance and labour market studies, the study estimated the mean number of sick leave days in the year of first diagnosis of generalized pustular psoriasis (index year) and for 2 years before and after the index year.
