Retrospective evaluation of canine heart base tumours treated with toceranib phosphate (Palladia): 2011-2018.

Heart base tumours (HBT) occur commonly in older, brachycephalic dogs. A presumptive diagnosis is made based on location and appearance of the tumour via echocardiogram. Effective treatment options are limited to surgery (when feasible) or radiation therapy.
