Objective: To describe the challenges of service coordination through the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) for Hurricane Maria evacuees, particularly those on dialysis.
Design: Public health report.
Setting: Georgia.
Study Design: Controlled laboratory study.
Objectives: To determine if changes in transversus abdominis (TrA) and internal oblique (IO) muscle thickness and side-to-side symmetry differ in individuals with and without unilateral lumbopelvic pain while at rest and during the abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM).
Background: Although the ADIM has been found to produce a symmetrical change in TrA and IO muscle thickness in healthy subjects, how these muscles are activated in those with unilateral lumbopelvic pain during the ADIM remains unknown.

Since either aspirin or phenacetin might be causative in the nephropathy of analgesic abuse, studies were designed to examine the renal accumulation and distribution of the major metabolic products of these compounds, salicylate and N-acetyl-p-aminophenol (APAP) respectively, in dogs. Nineteen hydropenic animals were studied, of which seven were given phenacetin, nine received acetyl salicylic acid, two were given both aspirin and phenacetin, and one received APAP directly. Two of three hydrated animals were given phenacetin and one was given aspirin.
