Introduction: A level of hesitancy existed among parents when United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved pediatric COVID-19 vaccines were introduced. We explored attitudes, beliefs, and willingness of health care personnel (HCP) as parents to vaccinate children less than 18 years of age.

Methods: We developed a cross-sectional survey for HCPs as parents, including clinical and nonclinical staff, researchers, and trainees at a single academic medical institution.

Long-Lived Coherence on a μHz Scale Optical Magnetic Quadrupole Transition.

We report on the coherent excitation of the ultranarrow ^{1}S_{0}-^{3}P_{2} magnetic quadrupole transition in ^{88}Sr. By confining atoms in a state insensitive optical lattice, we achieve excitation fractions of 97(1)% and observe linewidths as narrow as 58(1) Hz. With Ramsey spectroscopy, we find coherence times of 14(1) ms, which can be extended to 266(36) ms using a spin-echo sequence.

Fine-Structure Qubit Encoded in Metastable Strontium Trapped in an Optical Lattice.

We demonstrate coherent control of the fine-structure qubit in neutral strontium atoms. This qubit is encoded in the metastable ^{3}P_{2} and ^{3}P_{0} states, coupled by a Raman transition. Using a magnetic quadrupole transition, we demonstrate coherent state initialization of this THz qubit.

Introduction: Autologous platelet concentrate (APC) are pro-angiogenic and can promote wound healing and tissue repair, also in combination with other biomaterials. However, challenging defect situations remain demanding. 3D bioprinting of an APC based bioink encapsulated in a hydrogel could overcome this limitation with enhanced physio-mechanical interface, growth factor retention/secretion and defect-personalized shape to ultimately enhance regeneration.

The Perfect Timing-Immediate versus Delayed Microvascular Reconstruction of the Mandible.

In this retrospective study, the clinical and economic implications of microvascular reconstruction of the mandible were assessed, comparing immediate versus delayed surgical approaches. Utilizing data from two German university departments for oral and maxillofacial surgery, the study included patients who underwent mandibular reconstruction following continuity resection. The data assessed included demographic information, reconstruction details, medical history, dental rehabilitation status, and flap survival rates.

Objectives: Pre-vascularization of the collagen membranes with autologous platelet concentrates is a standard procedure in oral and maxillofacial surgery. This study analyzed the possible interaction of an acellular collagen membrane of porcine origin (NM) with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) regarding its rehydration protocol with differences in pH values and effect on angiogenesis.

Materials And Methods: NM was analyzed alone and combined with solid PRF by plotting or co-culturing with injectable PRF.

The Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) initiative was established by the US National Institute of Mental Health as a multilevel, disorder-agnostic framework for analysis of human psychopathology through designated domains and constructs, including the "Positive Valence Systems" domain focused on reward-related behavior. This study investigates the reward valuation subconstruct of "effort" and its association with genetic markers, functional neurobiological pathways, and polygenic risk scores for psychopathology in 1215 children aged 6-12 and their parents (n = 1044). All participants completed the effort expenditure for rewards task (EEfRT), which assesses "effort" according to two quantitative measures: hard-task choice and reward sensitivity.
