As the diet for people with CKD changes based on new clinical trials, patients are not clear on how to accurately use their diet to protect their kidneys or best manage their electrolytes if they are on dialysis. They often make restrictions where they shouldn't and miss the dietary interventions that could actually make a difference. In this article, I present four recipes that can be tailored to any stage of kidney disease.
