Ibrutinib (IBR) is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor under investigation in preclinical and clinical settings as an alternative treatment for melanoma. Nevertheless, the limited oral bioavailability of IBR and the need for high doses of the drug to kill melanoma cells are major drawbacks for this purpose. Considering that melanoma is restricted to the skin at early stages, the topical application of IBR might constitute an effective and safer administration route.

Ibrutinib (IB) is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that has immunomodulatory action and can be used as second-line therapy for steroid-refractory or steroid-resistant chronic Graft versus Host Disease (cGVHD). Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) are distributed throughout the body and their infusion has also been explored as a second-line therapeutic alternative for the treatment of cGVHD. The same amines were found in all treatments; however, treatments were divided into two groups regarding total amines [0 & 20 % UF (34 mg/kg) and 35 to 65 % UF (17 mg/kg)] and phenolic levels [lower and higher, respectively]. The southern region of Bahia stands out as the country's largest producer, accounting for approximately 60% of production. Due to damage caused by infestation of the cocoa crop with the fungus Moniliophthora perniciosa, which causes 'witch's broom disease', research in cocoa beans has led to the cloning of species that are resistant to the disease; however, there is little information about the development of other fungal genera in these clones, such as Aspergillus, which do not represent a phytopathogenicity problem but can grow during the pre-processing of cocoa beans and produce mycotoxins.
