A choledochal cyst is a rare congenital anomaly of the biliary system, characterized by bile duct cystic dilatation, typically affecting the common bile duct. Choledochal cysts are generally categorized using the Todani classification system. The typical symptoms are jaundice, abdominal masses, and recurrent abdominal pain.

Postoperative Surgical Site Infections in the Department of General Surgery of a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.

Introduction: Surgical site infection is defined by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention as a wound infection that occurs within 30 days of an operative procedure or within a year if an implant is left in place and the infection is thought to be secondary to surgery. It occupies 20% to 39% of all the infections acquired in hospitals. The aim of this study is to find out the prevalence of postoperative surgical site infections in the Department of General Surgery of a tertiary care centre.

Mucinous Carcinoma of the Skin: A Case Report.

Unlabelled: Primary mucinous carcinoma of the skin is a rare malignant neoplasm showing predilection to the periorbital region. These tumours are indolent and low-grade, with a tendency for local, sometimes multiple, recurrences. Distinguishing between these primary neoplasms and the more frequent metastatic mucinous deposits on the skin from primaries in the breast and gastrointestinal tract constitutes a diagnostic dilemma.
