Combined coronary artery bypass grafting and orthopedic fixation in a patient with multiple comorbidities: a case report.

Background: Coronary artery disease is a prevalent cardiovascular condition and the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The management of orthopedic injuries requiring surgical fixation is particularly complex in patients with comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus and hypertension (HTN). Coordinating the sequence, timing, and execution of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and orthopedic fixation requires careful consideration of the patient's overall health, surgical risks, and recovery potential.

Massive hemoptysis as a sole presentation of left atrial myxoma.

Diagnosis of myxoma can be difficult given its variable presentation and while adopting common sense in diagnosing this condition, physicians should also be aware of atypical presentations. Herein we present a 47-year-old heavy smoker presented with massive blood-stained expectoration. He was later diagnosed with cardiac myxoma and managed accordingly.

Surgical Treatment of Palestinian Patients With Congenital Heart Disease in a Medical Center in Israel: Challenges and Outcome.

Background: The treatment of congenital heart disease patients in the West Bank and Gaza involves both medical and political challenges. Understanding the difficulties faced in treating the Palestinian population is an important step to improving surgical care, better allocating resources and overcoming the region's unique problems.

Methods: The Hadassah Medical Center congenital heart disease database over the 2011-2017 period was analyzed.
