Methods: a multicenter cross sectional study was conducted on people sexually active and in stable relationships for at least 6 months. To evaluate male and female sexual dysfunctions, we used the international index of erectile function (IIEF-15) and the female sexual function index (FSFI), respectively; marital quality and stability were evaluated by the marital adjustment test (items 10-15); to evaluate the severity of anxiety symptoms, we used the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale.
Objective: To evaluate the impact of preoperative markers of systemic inflammation on complications and oncological outcomes in patients aged ≥75 years treated with radical cystectomy (RC) for urothelial bladder cancer (UBC).
Patients And Methods: The clinical data of 694 patients treated with open RC for UBC at our institution between January 2008 and December 2015 were retrospectively reviewed. Patients aged <75 years, with distant metastases, other-than-urothelial histological type, comorbidities that could affect the systemic inflammatory markers, and patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy were excluded.

What Is Known Already: The presence of SARS-CoV-2 in human semen and its role in virus contagion and semen quality after recovery from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is still unclear. So far, studies evaluating semen quality and the occurrence of SARS-CoV-2 in semen of infected or proven recovered men are scarce and included a limited number of participants.
Background: Type 5 phosphodiesterase (PDE5) expression in the normal and pathological prostate is controversial.
Objectives: This study aimed at identifying the cell type/s, if any, expressing PDE5 in human healthy or pathological prostate sections in order to further validate the rationale of PDE5 inhibitor (PDE5i) treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and their safety in the treatment of erectile dysfunction following prostate cancer (PCa) surgery.
Materials And Methods: By immunohistochemical analysis, we studied PDE5 expression in tissue microarrays containing sections obtained from healthy, BPH, and PCa samples.
