Introduction: The purpose of this study is to explore treatment preferences and identify patient characteristics in young bio-naive adults with moderate to severe psoriasis in the Nordic countries (Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark).

Methods: Patients were 18-45 years old and bio-naive but referred for biologic treatment of moderate to severe psoriasis. Patients were included at eight Nordic dermatology clinics.

Importance: A clear dosing regimen for methotrexate in psoriasis is lacking, and this might lead to a suboptimal treatment. Because methotrexate is affordable and globally available, a uniform dosing regimen could potentially optimize the treatment of patients with psoriasis worldwide.

Objective: To reach international consensus among psoriasis experts on a uniform dosing regimen for treatment with methotrexate in adult and pediatric patients with psoriasis and identify potential future research topics.

Daivobet (Dovobet) is a fixed combination ointment of calcipotriol and betamethasone dipropionate. The real-life clinical use of calcipotriol/betamethasone dipropionate treatment was assessed in this multi-centre, single-group, non-interventional study. Patients with psoriasis vulgaris who had a recent calcipotriol/betamethasone dipropionate prescription prior to the study start evaluated their satisfaction with the treatment after a 4-week course and after repeated courses for up to 6 months.
