We study the variation in plasma beta, Alfven Mach number, and magnetosonic Mach number during different geomagnetic storms of solar cycles 23, 24, and 25. In addition, we employ measurements of the solar wind's flow pressure, proton density, interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) along the -direction (Bz), temperature, velocity, and geomagnetic index SYM-H. Here, the wavelet coherence (WTC) approach of plasma beta, the Alfven Mach number, and the magnetosonic Mach number have been used with the symmetrical H component (SYM-H) index, which are critical indicators of the plasma behavior and magnetic field interactions.

The unusual lightning events are characterized by a pronounced opposite-polarity pulse prior to the main electric field waveform. These electric fields are pertinent to the unusual lightning events recorded in the Himalayan region, at the height of about 1300 m above the sea level, during the premonsoon period of 2015. For the case of unusual events, a downward positive leader approaches the ground, and there is an increase in the downward-directed electric field due to which negative leaders move upwards and will try to intercept.

The yield and quality of an annual crop are highly dependent on uniform and rapid germination of the seeds. In case of bitter gourd (Momordica charantia), the germination and field emergence is always a problem as seeds have thick and hard seed coat. Pre-sowing hydro-priming is one of the most suitable, affordable, easily available, and cost-effective techniques in breaking down seed dormancy to enhance germination.

Background: Rheumatoid arthritis and Periodontitis both are chronic destructive inflammatory disorders characterized by dysregulation of the host inflammatory response and increase in localized and systemically circulating pro-inflammatory cytokines. The objective of this study was to determine prevalence of periodontitis among Rheumatoid Arthritis patients in our setup.

Methods: A crossectional study was done in 43 cases of diagnosed Rheumatoid Arthritis patients visiting to department of Orthopedics of Bir Hospital during the period of July 2016 to January 2017 were examined for presence of periodontitis and its severity.
