A healthy, 27-year-old man had development of a maculopapular, pustular rash due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa, serotype 0:4, after bathing in a hot tub. Two persons sharing the same tub manifested a similar rash. In the first patient, the eruption was distributed mainly over the back, buttocks, and upper arms, appearing abruptly within 24 to 72 hours after use of the hot tub.

However, cellular infiltrates (lymphocytes, plasma cells, and eosinophils) may also be present in the dermis, fat, and muscle. Blood eosinophilia (mild and transient) and skin eosinophilia were observed in about 20% of patients with systemic and localized scleroderma.

Improvement was noted within four days, and almost complete clearing occurred after two weeks of therapy. No side-effects were noted.

Partial control was obtained by using a very low concentration (5%) on one side when involvement was symmetrical. Duration of treatment ranged from 3 to 15 months.

We report the first case of adenocarcinoma of the stomach associated with severe hypoglycemia. Accompanying the profound hypoglycemia, as low as 5 mg per cent by the orthotoluidine method, were multiple episodes of ventricular tachycardia which were abolished by glucose infusion. Following surgical excision of a hemorrhagic portion of the tumor, normoglycemia levels were achieved and ventricular irritability was no longer present.
