Article Synopsis

A mutant strain of Tetraselmis subcordiformis was developed to deliver AMP NZ2114 to turbot fish as a way to reduce antibiotic usage.
Feeding turbot with this modified algae resulted in lower inflammation markers, inhibited harmful bacteria, and increased diversity in their gut microbiota, indicating a promising method for sustainable aquaculture.
