Unveiling the intricate relationship between cancer and Golgi viscosity remains an arduous endeavor, primarily due to the lack of Golgi-specific fluorescent probes tailored for viscosity measurement. Considering this formidable obstacle, we have triumphed over the challenge by devising a bespoke Golgi-specific viscosity probe, aptly named GOL-V. This ingenious innovation comprises the viscosity rotor BODIPY intricately tethered to the Golgi-targeting moiety benzsulfamide.

Effective treatment of pesticide residue-induced pollution in the aqueous environment is the key to improving the water quality of rivers and lakes. Modified biomass material (Fe-Al-PS) was successfully prepared by impregnating Fe and Al bimetallic compounds to peanut shell powder for adsorption of glyphosate isopropylamine salt herbicide residues in aqueous environments. Fe-Al-PS reached adsorption equilibrium for 10 mg·L of glyphosate isopropylamine salt at the adsorbent dosage and adsorption time of 0.

Elucidating the intrinsic relationship between diseases and Golgi apparatus polarity remains a great challenge owing to the lack of the Golgi-specific fluorescent probe for polarity. Until now, the visualization of abnormal Golgi apparatus polarity in clinical cancer patient samples has not been achieved. To meet this urgent challenge, we facilely synthesized a robust Golgi-targeting and polarity-specific fluorescent probe (GCSP), which consists of an electron-acceptor solvatochromic coumarin 343 and an electron-donor Golgi-targeting group phenylsulfonamide.

Dye-sensitized solar cells based on boron dipyrromethene (BODIPY) have gained widespread attention in recent years because of their easy structural modification, strong light absorption, and photostability. In this paper, a series of dyes with single or double acceptors based on the BODIPY framework have been designed and compared by density functional theory calculation. Results show that the dyes with double acceptors exhibit smaller band gap and broader red-shift absorption peaks than their counterparts with single acceptors.

The properties of four finite-length bent and straight intramolecular junctions (IMJs) connecting two armchair and zigzag single-walled carbon nanotube segments, viz. (3,3)-(6,0) and (4,4)-(8,0), were investigated. Their structures were calculated using the density functional theory (DFT) methods at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory.

A novel chemiluminescence (CL) method to determine 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) is described, based on the catalytic effect of 6-MP on the CL reaction of luminol with K3Fe(C-N)6 in a flow system. Under optimal experimental conditions, the calibration graph is linear in the range of 1.02 x 10(-7) to 1.

Flow-injection chemiluminescence(FI-CL) analysis has made great progress in analytical chemistry for its high sensitivity with a wide linear range, simple instruments, rapidity and reproducibility in signal detection, and being appropriate for on-line analysis. A review with 74 references dating from 2002-early 2004 is given of the application of FI-CL method in the determination of drugs.

A novel flow injection chemiluminescence (CL) analysis method for the determination of adenine in the presence of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS) surfactant micelles is described. This method is based on the luminescent properties of the luminol-K2Cr2O7-adenine in alkaline medium sensitized by SDBS. The optimized experimental conditions were evaluated and the possible mechanism was discussed by examining CL emission spectrum and the effect of various free radical scavengers on CL emission intensity.
