L-shaped association of plasma low-density lipoprotein cholesterol with atrial fibrillation recurrence after catheter ablation: a prospective cohort study.

The association between plasma low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and atrial fibrillation (AF) recurrence after catheter ablation remains unclear. We aimed to assess the relationship between preprocedural LDL-C and the AF recurrence in patients undergoing catheter ablation. The cohort study consecutively included AF patients who underwent de novo catheter ablation between April 2021 and January 2023 in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University in Jiangxi Province, China.
