- The study aimed to identify risk factors for medication nonadherence in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and create a nomogram model to predict this risk.
- A total of 338 T2DM patients were analyzed, revealing six independent risk factors: educational level, monthly income, drug affordability, number of medications, daily doses, and time spent taking them.
- The developed nomogram model accurately predicts nonadherence risk and was validated through bootstrapping, making it a useful tool for assessing medication adherence in T2DM patients.
