Objective: Disease-related skeletal muscle loss is highly prevalent among patients with Crohn's disease. Low skeletal muscle mass lead to disability and interventions to prevent skeletal mass loss as an effective strategy to prevent disability. The aim of this article was to identify the factor associated with skeletal muscle loss of Crohn's disease and seek for management target for the prevention of sarcopenia-related disability.

Total six English and Chinese databases were searched for articles published up to May 2021. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating mind-body excises on non-motor symptoms of PD were included.

A literature search within eight databases [including Medline, Embase, the Cochrane Library, PubMed, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), China Biology Medicine (CBM), VIP, and Wanfang Database] was performed covering a time frame from their inception to August 2020. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing acupuncture-related therapies combined with conventional medication vs.

Three major fractions (CPHP I, CPHP II-1 and CPHP II-2) from the CPHP were purified by column chromatography and investigated for their monosaccharide compositions, scavenging radical effects and hepatoprotective activities in vitro. The results showed that glucose and galactose were the main monosaccharides of three polysaccharide fractions, CPHP II-1 and CPHP II-2 were acidic polysaccharide fractions which contained glucuronic acid and galacturonic acid.

To clarify the molecular mechanism underlying tissue and cell differences in Cd sensitivity, we compared metallothionein (MT) gene expression, MT protein accumulation, and Cd retention under different times in freshly isolated testicular Sertoli and spermatogenic cells and liver of rats treated with Cd. Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats received a s.

In the present study, we show ex vivo that berberine significantly inhibited rabbit platelet aggregation induced by adenosine diphosphate, arachidonic acid, collagen or calcium ionophore A23187. The most potent inhibition was observed in collagen-induced platelet aggregation.
