Purpose: Targeted axillary dissection (TAD) after neoadjuvant therapy (NAT) includes removing of marked and sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs). The aim was to investigate the optimization of TAD localization techniques after NAT among breast cancer patients.
Methods: From November 2020 to 2022, we prospectively enrolled 107 lymph node-positive breast cancer patients in XX Hospital and received complete cycles of NAT.

Methods: Patients receiving SLNB with dual tracer mapping in the PEONY trial were analyzed.
Results: For 80 patients with clinical negative ALNs, the node negative rate by pathology after NAT was 83.

More attention has been paid to the axillary management over the past 50 years, and clinical practice has been changed as results of the random controlled trials. The American College of Surgeons Oncology Group Z0011 and International Breast Cancer Study Group (IBCSG) 23-01 trials provided high-level evidence to support the omission of axillary lymph nodes dissection (ALND) in sentinel lymph node (SLN)-positive patients receiving breast-conserving surgery (BCS) and adjuvant systemic treatment. In patients treated with BCS, whole breast irradiation (WBI) with tangential fields could lead to substantial axillary irradiation and control the residual tumor burden in axilla, whereas (intraoperative) partial breast irradiation has no therapeutic effect on these residual axillary metastases.

Materials And Methods: A small particle radiotracer (99mTc-Dextran 40) was prepared and tested. 99mTc-Dextran 40 was injected into intraparenchyma at the sound breast by a modified radiotracer injection technique.
Rationale: The parotid gland is an unusual site for metastatic disease from breast cancer, and it usually has a poor prognosis.
Patient Concerns: A 36-year-old woman presented to our department with a swelling in her left parotid gland. The patient did not receive any other treatment after breast conserving surgery.
Inclusion internal mammary lymph nodes as a part of regional nodal irradiation have a potential to reduce local recurrence, distant recurrence, and improve survival in breast cancer. However, the increased risk of cardiac toxicity and lungs injure associated with internal mammary lymph nodes irradiation has drew more and more attention. Estimating risk of metastasis in internal mammary lymph nodes based on axillary lymph nodes metastasis status is not always reliable: low-risk do not always mean negative in internal mammary lymph nodes and high-risk do not always indicate positive in internal mammary lymph nodes.
