Esophageal Tuberculosis as a Rare Cause of Dysphagia: Case Report.

Introduction: The esophagus and duodenum are rare sites of manifestation for extrapulmonary tuberculosis (TB). Its rarity makes the diagnosis challenging, especially when no other organ is involved, and the endoscopic findings may resemble malignancy.

Case Presentation: We report a unique case of a 37-year-old woman who presented with dysphagia secondary to esophageal TB with an endoscopic appearance of a submucosal mass resembling malignancy.

A Rare Case of Gastric Extranodal NK/T-Cell Lymphoma With Orbital Involvement.

Gastric extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL) is a rare presentation of a rare disease. We report a 33-year-old woman presenting with epigastric pain, nausea, and vomiting. Endoscopic examination revealed gastric and duodenal ulceration.

Impact of Telehealth on Medication Adherence in Chronic Gastrointestinal Diseases.

Background: With the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand and availability of telehealth in outpatient care has had exponential growth. Although use of telehealth has been studied and validated for various medical specialties, relatively few studies have looked at its role in gastroenterology.

Aim: To assess effectiveness of telehealth medicine in gastroenterology by comparing medication adherence rate for patients seen with telehealth and traditional in-person appointment for various gastrointestinal conditions.
