Exploring the Dietary Supplement Use During COVID-19: Insights from Community Pharmacists, Pharmacy Staff, Academics, and Industry Experts.

The increased use of dietary supplements is a consequence of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Although their efficacy has not been consistently proven, they have been perceived as a preventive tool against COVID-19. Less strict regulations and debates on their definitions in a regulatory framework raise concerns about safety issues.

A qualitative study on female executive pharmacists with convergent roles.

Background: Although women's participation is relatively high in the pharmacist workforce, women remain underrepresented in executive positions. The rate of executive female pharmacists in diversified pharmaceutical areas, from education and research to politics, is recognized as being disproportionately low.

Objectives: In this study, we aimed to explore female executive pharmacists' roles and identify reasons for their being underrepresented in such executive positions in Turkey.

Websites as a Gate of Pharmacy Schools to the World: Does National Accreditation Cause a Difference?

Objectives: Websites have become the main information source, being a crucial element of our daily life and a global network. In this context, the importance of the websites of pharmacy schools is considered not only for their educational mission, but also for their gates to the world. In this study, we evaluated the websites of pharmacy schools based on criteria issued in the literature.

Determination of Pharmacists' Opinions about Collegial Solidarity.

Objectives: Colleague solidarity, which emphasizes trust, independent thinking skills, and sharing, enables the problems encountered in the health service delivery to be dealt with effectively. This study aims to identify the current situation regarding colleague solidarity among pharmacists, which is also included in Turkey's pharmacy legislation.

Materials And Methods: "Colleague Solidarity Scale Among Nurses" was used in this study conducted with the questionnaire technique.

Self-medication and non-prescription drug counseling: Illustrating profession uncertainty within Turkish pharmacy practice.

Background: Recommending effective minor ailment treatments and using non-prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) medicines is a pharmacist's duty. Although common in most European countries, self-medication counseling practices may differ from country to country.

Objectives: This study explored Turkish community pharmacists' attitudes concerning the present self-medication market, professional responsibilities toward patients' self-care, and the usefulness of e-learning for patients' counseling education.

THE CONCEPT OF LEADERSHIP IN HEALTHCARE SERVICES AND ETHICAL LEADERSHIP.

Being a role model for the people they serve, and within the framework of their managerial duties at their work places, healthcare professionals are expected to carry leadership qualities that need to be emphasized during their professional education. Within the scope of this study, we have examined several researches about the importance of leadership in the field of healthcare. With the spread of globalization and the increase in competition, leadership approaches started to change.
