Introduction: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) has been established as the gold standard treatment for symptomatic gallstones, however surgeons face the risk of injuring bile ducts and vessels due to the inherent limitations of laparoscopy.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional study done in the Department of Surgery, Shree Birendra Hospital (SBH) on patients who were posted for LC. The study period was through April 2021 to September 2021.

Introduction And Importance: The stump appendicitis is a rare complication with incidence of 1 in 50,000 appendectomy cases.

Case Presentation: Patient with a history of emergency open appendectomy one year back presented with symptoms as that of acute appendicitis like pain abdomen localized in right iliac fossa, nausea, vomiting and anorexia. Complete blood count showed leukocytosis.

Transversus abdominis muscle release (TAR) procedure, as a type of posterior component separation, is a new myofascial release technique in complex ventral hernia repair.
