Introduction: In total knee arthroplasty (TKA), choosing the correct implant size is important. There is lack of data on accuracy of templating on haemophilic knees. Our aim was to test the accuracy of 2D digital templating for TKA on haemophilic arthropathy (HA) of knee.

However, synthesis of these complex molecules is difficult due to the requirement of various synthetic steps, which include highly regio- and stereoselectivity. Therefore, oxidative radical cyclization assisted by manganese(III) acetate serves as an important step in obtaining spiro-, tricyclic, tetracyclic, and polycyclic derivatives of these compounds.

High-performance polyethylene fibers, renowned for their superior attributes encompassing a high strength, modulus, and lightness, are conventionally manufactured through the gel spinning method. However, this method is encumbered by several drawbacks, including the requisite application of a separate process to eliminate solvents from the fibers and the utilization of chemicals deleterious to both the environment and human health. Alternatively, the adoption of the melt spinning method presents a cleaner and environmentally friendly approach to attain high-performance fibers.

Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze the surgical content of the 50 most-viewed laparoscopic myomectomy videos on YouTube while evaluating the educational quality and accuracy of the videos.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the keyword "laparoscopic myomectomy" was searched in publicly available content on YouTube, and the videos were sorted by view count using YouTube's advanced search options. Out of the first 66 videos, only 50 were eligible according to our selection criteria.
Melatonin has antiproliferative, antiangiogenic, apoptotic, and immunomodulatory properties in ovarian cancer. Considering those, we evaluated the relationship between melatonin 1 (MT1) and melatonin 2 receptor (MT2) expression in tumor tissues of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, disease-free survival (DFS), and overall survival (OS). Patients who received primary surgical treatment for epithelial ovarian cancer in our clinic between 2000 and 2019 were retrospectively scanned through patient files, electronic databases, and telephone calls.

The absence of a universally accepted treatment as the gold standard for osteochondral damage indicates the necessity for further studies in this field in the future. Although the biomechanical characteristics of the rabbit knee do not perfectly mimic those of the human knee, experimental studies conducted on rabbit knees are considered the most practical experimental model for testing a well-constructed experimental hypothesis.

Material And Methods: Five patients who diagnosed juvenile granulosa cell tumor between 2000 and 2020 were included in the study. The demographics, clinical findings and outcomes were retrospectively evaluated.
Objective: Our aim in this study was to determine the relationship between tumor mean standard uptake value (SUVmax) value in preoperative PET/computed tomography (CT) and prognostic risk groups in cases with endometrial cancer.
Methods: A total of 368 patients operated on for endometrial cancer were evaluated in the study. The SUVmax value of endometrial primary tumor of the patients screened within 30 days of operation, was compared with prognostic parameters and risk groups.
Aim: This study aims to determine the potential causative elements which are responsible for the cartilage damage in case of frequent intra-articular bleeding and to evaluate the effects of intra-articular free iron and chelation of iron in the knee joint.
Methods: Thirty-five New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into five groups according to substances injected into their knee joints. Plasma (group I) and cellular components (group II) of the blood harvested from the rabbits, iron (ferric hydroxide sucrose) (group III), iron&chelator (group IV) and only chelator (deferoxamine mesylate) (group V) were injected into their right knees three times a week for 12 weeks.
In this study, the biosynthesis of Au and Ag nanoparticles (AuNp and AgNp) with a green chemistry approach was performed by using bioextracts of various fruits and vegetables ( (LE), (CS), (MD), (CP), (AVR), (PC), (OVB)). In the determination of optimum experimental conditions, the parameters such as the type and concentration of bioextract, concentration of metal ion solutions, the ratio of metal ion solution to bioextract, pH, reaction time and temperature were found to be significant. The characterisation of AuNp and AgNp synthesized by providing the most appropriate experimental conditions was performed by UV-Vis.

Due to the association of cysteine with sulfadiazine, the reduction peak currents of mercuric and mercurous cysteine thiolates decreased and their peak potentials simultaneously shifted to less negative potentials. By using the current changes of mercurous cysteine thiolate, it was determined that cysteine and sulfadiazine are associated with a 1:1 stoichiometry with a conditional association constant of 1.

The secondary aim was to evaluate the influence of preoperative mechanical axis deviations (MA) on PTS METHODS: Between January 2014 and February 2016, patients with a diagnosis of medial-compartment osteoarthritis who had undergone OWHTO with posteromedial osteotomy technique with a minimum follow-up of 3 months were included in this retrospective study. Preoperative and postoperative PTS angles with 3 different methods and patellar heights with respect to the Insall-Salvati and Caton-Deschamps indices were measured on lateral radiographs by 2 observers.

Surprisingly little is known about lung fluid protease composition and there is a consequent lack of biorelevant experimental models, which limits research and development in the burgeoning field of inhaled biologics. The aim of this study was to quantify proteases in human lung fluid and to use this data to design novel in vitro experimental models of lung lining fluid possessing biorelevant lung protease activity for use in biopharmaceutical stability studies.

We aimed to investigate the effect of the knee position during the surgical closure on isokinetic muscle strength, clinical score, and range of motion in total knee arthroplasty. Seventy-five eligible patients were enrolled in the study and randomly divided into two groups; wound closure was performed with the knee flexed at 90° in group 1 and knee extended in group 2. All the surgeries were performed by the same surgeon and by the same prosthesis type.

Here we combined the use of nano-silica, as a protein concentrator, with label-free snapshot proteomics (LC-MS/MS; key findings confirmed by ELISA) to generate a quantitative profile of the RTLF proteome and provided insight into the evolved corona; information that may be used in future to improve drug targeting to the lungs by inhaled medicines. The asthmatic coronal proteome displayed a reduced contribution of surfactant proteins (SP-A and B) and a higher contribution of α1-antitrypsin.

Label-free snapshot proteomics was used to generate semi-quantitative profiles of corona proteins formed around silica (SiO2) and poly(vinyl) acetate (PVAc) nanoparticles in RTLF, the latter employed as an archetype drug delivery vehicle. The evolved PVAc corona was significantly enriched compared to that observed on SiO2 nanoparticles (698 vs.
